My #1linewed from my #wip #OutoftheBlue (that’s a lot of hashtags!). I have finished Out of the Blue. Well, I am waiting to hear feedback from my gals, beta readers I believe is the term. Until then I am free to work on the next book in the series and get the series worked out.
So I was going to wait to do this but I feel like I have been neglecting my new blog this week so I am going to give you a teaser from my work in progress.
Out of the Blue
Chapter One-Friday
Callisto silently slips through the currents, weaving and bobbing around obstacles in her path. Upon waking, this morning she knew today was the day and her mother’s urging sealed it. Her father was gone on important business so he wouldn’t even know she had left. Today is the day she is starting her new life, the day she will give up being a mermaid to live as a human.
One of the blogs I followed shared some awesome photos of the blood moon. Check this one out. I took some but missed the blood moon part and got a fuzzy eclipse. Check out her blog to see another awesome photo.

My #1linewed for this week from my work in progress, Out of the Blue. I am almost done with it! It’s written and I have edited it more times than I want to count. Soon I will have to let my little birdie leave the nest.
I am really excited to share this! I have been binge reading this series. I highly recommend it.
We have less than five days to go!!! BLOOD DARK will be yours as of next Wednesday. For those waiting on the paperback version (available from release day), here’s the full cover reveal… I do hope you like it! As feedback continues to come in, I thought I’d share a few snippets of what …

Write! WRITE! Sit the f down and write. Write until the story is done. 😍
Take a break when it’s done. Maybe a long weekend. Maybe a week. Whatever. Drink heavily to celebrate during break. 🎉😎🍹
If you’ve never played or don’t know what it is let me explain what I know. (Which isn’t much about Twitter.) Every week before Wednesday the RWA’s Kiss of Death Chapter’s Twitter page has given out a prompt and authors with W.I.P.s or works in progress share a line or so based on that prompt. This week was:
I am so excited to be my reviewing books. Be it a newly released book or a published classic.
But folks this review posting is SO much harder than I thought. I believed that writing a great review was the hardest part. Boy was I wrong!! Nothing could be further from the truth. Posting a review is not simply coping, pasting and then posting. No, no, there’s Optimizing.
