The bliss Reyna and Corbyn found in their unique Úlfr engagement is quickly forgotten as their ongoing conflict grows just as passionately as their hearts and desires. Reyna needs her independence and reassurance that their feelings are real. Corbyn needs to keep her safe, and for Reyna to accept him as her mate once and for all. The only thing their enemies want is to tear the new Wolf King and his would-be Queen apart. With the clock ticking toward inevitable war, Corbyn’s worst fears are realized when someone ups the ante, striking at his mate from the one place he never saw coming.
Frightened and angry, Corbyn rushes Reyna to the Elders, only to end up on their healing table next. After the back-to-back horrors, Reyna realizes she needs to make a crucial decision that will change their lives forever…and possibly save them. Fate decides to put that to the test immediately, drawing them right into enemy territory where Reyna will finally discover what’s become of Jesse and gets an unexpected audience with real Úlfrinn royalty.
Just when it seems they’ve found solid footing at last, their world is shaken in a horrific homecoming of bloodshed and betrayal. Their greatest fears can no longer be ignored, as they face off with the evidence of their worst enemy’s return–and a living Nightmare. Can Corbyn trust his Little Queen to make the right decision for herself and their entire pack, or will he lose everything he’s ever loved in one fateful night?

A.C. Melody is a hybrid author of Erotic Romance and its many sub-genres, enjoying the evergreen life in the Pacific Northwest. Confessed javaholic, introverted geeky girl with a twisted sense of humor and a wretched muse. She has a weakness for hard ass Alphas and the strong women who capture their hearts, without damaging their rough edges.
A lifetime lover of fairytales, myths, legends and ancient pantheons, she spends more time researching than writing. A.C.’s biggest goal is to provide new, captivating angles on old, favorite tales with very naughty twists and characters that redefine preset expectations.
ReBlog – Dealing with criticism is hard but I agree it’s needed to make your novel the best it can be. And the sooner you know the better.
Happy Independence Day to all of my fellow Americans! The perfect day to get back on track with my Indie posts. 🙂 The last you heard from me, I talked about the importance of Beta Readers and all …
Awesome Amazon Author Spotlight – A.C. Melody
As an Army brat, A.C. was born abroad and spent the first three years of her life in Hanau, Germany, the hometown of the Brothers Grimm. Yet it would still be many years before she’d get the chance to add ‘writer’ to her creative family’s list of artists and musicians. After returning to the States, she was moved around a bit, before her family finally settled in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where she still happily resides.
With schooling in Business and Computers, A.C. found herself slinging beer to the local Iron Workers and classic car enthusiasts, until she got a lucky break in the mortgage industry as a loan processor. In 2008, her career crashed along with the entire housing market. With the encouragement of friends and family, it was then that A.C. decided she was going to finish one of her countless manuscripts and turn her writing dreams into a reality.
On Mother’s Day, 2013, that dream came true when an e-publisher emailed her with a contract proposal for her first novel, The Zen Lounge. Writing and submitting books only to wait years to see them published just wasn’t enough for this writer, so in 2016, A.C. became a hybrid author, self-publishing her first Indie novella, Collar Me Foxy, followed by the Avarice trilogy. As a single mom, family genealogist and writer, she spends 90% of her time researching for one reason or another – but gets a break with her day job as a Real Estate Transaction Coordinator.
A.C.’s books include romantic erotica Collar Me Foxy: Dark Day Isle, The Ultimate Kink Resort, the erotic science fiction romance The Zen Lounge and the erotic paranormal Avarice, Hell On Earth series.

GENRE: Paranormal Erotic Romance
All Reyna Daniels wants is to secure her return home to Minneapolis. The last thing she needs is to find her world completely inundated by the magnetizing, hostile Corbyn Bruschard and his group of male-model friends.
Corbyn’s not ashamed at being everywhere, since it’s his territory, and he’s certainly not going to apologize for trying to keep Reyna safe. Especially when she’s his mate.
With all signs pointing to an old enemy’s return, Reyna’s going to have to suck it up and face her ancient Norse heritage fast. That doesn’t mean she has to accept being mated to an Alpha who threatens all of her hard-earned independence.
His silvery eyes roamed her freely now, rather than trying to penetrate into her bones.
“Won’t that leave Serena and Justin alone?”
“No,” he answered, leveling her with a stubborn stare. “You’re not going to win this argument, Reyna. There is no way in hell we’re leaving anything to chance, not with those who matter most to us. Now, get over here.”
Reyna scoffed. As if!
“Please,” he added gently.
It took Reyna about ten seconds to reluctantly scoot across the bench seat, still leaving a good arms length between them, because it appeared he wasn’t going anywhere until she did. If he thought she was done with her side of their little compromising barter, though, he was in for a big surprise! She inhaled sharply, when Corbyn hooked his arm around her waist, lifted her, and set her down across his lap. Her feet faced the passenger door, her back cradled in the crook of his left arm still clutching the steering wheel.
Desire unraveled in her veins, starting in her toes and working all of the way up to the roots of her hair. Every inch of her was once again hyper-aware of every inch of him, and she fought hard to keep her composure intact.
“Do you really think distance keeps you safe, falleg?” he asked softly, brushing her ponytail out from between the back of her head and his shoulder.
Fawk…what? “Did you just call me fugly?” she snapped.
“Not even close,” he replied. “Answer the question, Reyna. I’m onto your evasion tactics.”
Well, aren’t we clever?

ReBlog – Hi everyone! Soooo… I need to backpedal a little bit. In hindsight, this probably should’ve been my first Dear Indie post, but as with all things in my journey, I’m learning everything as I go. I’m here to help, yes – but I am far from being the expert! With that being said, this week’s post is about saving yourself the headache of last-minute deadlines you might not even be aware of (especially, if you’re a brand new author). Things no one takes the time to warn you about, that should be done BEFORE your manuscript, and definitely before that beauty is ready to publish.
