She struggles to put on his shirt, which causes his scent to surround her. She revels in it as it covers her body and soaks into her skin.

She felt hypnotized after catching a mire whiff of his alluring scent when he held her on the beach.

She can smell his attraction to her, too, and wonders why he doesn’t act on it.

The bed, the pillows, even the room smells like Drake.

“You think I’m concerned about her? I just need her here to send with Deacon as payment to his father for the few pesos I owe him.”

The morning came a lot faster than Callisto liked. She needed to figure out how to do laundry or go buy new clothes.

Like leaving behind everything he knows and starting a new life in a strange place?

I’m all for being truthful but to what extent? Is it worth potentially ruining your new life?
