Day 4: Imperfections

Erin's Big World

Day 4 of Writing 201: Poetry – We are to write about the imperfect nature of someone or something using limerick as our form and enjambment as our device. An enjambment is when you start a sentence on one line but continue it on another. A funny part about my poem is if you look at the number eleven it is perfect but counted out it isn’t.

Imperfections are of many

In numbers we find plenty

Three, seven and eleven who

are uneven, yet add to

The beauty of asymmetry.
