ReBlog – #TeaserTues Frenemies

So in the process of cutting and pasting and whacking and hacking the manuscript, I had to make choices. What to keep, what to do away with, what to whittle down and what to expand on. One scene I cut, I initially believed was important – simply because it defined the time period in which the manuscript is set in, 2001.

And because I actually had a lot of fun writing it!

Around the time I wrote it, The Greek had emailed me about a situation she was in and said something along the lines of, “He kept talking about choices. Come on, this isn’t Burger King, where you pick between french fries and chicken fries. This is life.”
